Background
The Content Manager at at Aussie non-alcoholic drinks distributor Sans Drinks, was referred to me by a friend. She wanted help writing a large number of short SEO descriptions.
Brief
The descriptions were for non-alcoholic mocktails. They needed to be under 100 words in length and include provided SEO keywords. The TOV needed to be intelligent, uplifting, knowledgeable and no-fluff. The audience is smart women in their 40s.
Approach
The brief specified to include details on the history and garnish suggestions, which I did. I also creatively used the names and other elements of each mocktail to bring the descriptions to life. I also used the words to help the reader imagine themselves sitting enjoying the drink in a particular setting or situation.
