Hunter Ethical Disability Support Services
Industry
Disability + NDISBackground
Hunter Ethical Disability Support Services (HEDSS) is a Maitland-based NDIS provider offering a wide range of services, from Supported Independent Living (SIL) to personal care and home assistance. They focus on making a real, positive impact in the lives of participants, carers and communities.
Brief
The project involved:
- Developing brand copy, including mission, vision, values, personality and tagline
- Writing website copy for a 25+ page site
- Ensuring the copy reflected HEDSS’s credibility, expertise, and positive, people-focused approach
- Designing content to speak to three audiences: participants, carers, and coordinators of supports (COSs)
Approach
Brand
I worked closely with the HEDSS team to capture their personality and values. The brand needed to feel trustworthy, experienced, and approachable.
The tagline, ‘Assistance that spreads smiles,‘ reflects the positivity they bring to participants’ lives and the fun they bring to their work.
Website
Website copy was created with strong UX in mind, guiding the three audiences through clear, inclusive messaging. Each page highlights services and support while remaining easy to read, friendly, and human.
The tone balances professionalism with warmth to build trust and confidence in HEDSS’s expertise.
