NHN Group is an established Newcastle-based business providing client services, including security, cleaning and investigations. Their clients range from growing businesses to large ports and mining companies, and the company is known for its disciplined, proactive and professional approach to service delivery.
Brief
TMM approached me to help support their client communications upgrade.
The project involved:
- Developing the NHN Group brand and tone of voice
- Writing copy for the homepage and nine service pages
- Optimising all website content for search using on-page SEO and targeted keywords
- Ensuring copy showcased credibility, expertiseand client-focused solutions

I got to know the company through the discovery process, which included an in-person meeting. I also researched the industry and services, and conducted SEO keyword research
Brand
The first step was creating a brand that stood out in the market and authentically reflected NHN Group’s approach to service.
I developed a comprehensive brand document covering mission, vision, tone of voice, personality, brand story, USPs, positioning, and tagline options. This framework informed the website copy and ensured a consistent, distinctive brand identity.
Words that shaped the tone included genuine, disciplined, proactive, honest, informed, and forward-thinking.
Website
For the website, I conducted in-depth research into the industry, services and SEO keywords for each page. The copy was structured to build credibility and expertise, addressing customer pain points, highlighting accreditations, and featuring testimonials and logos of major clients.
The result is website content that is professional, trustworthy, and approachable, clearly communicating NHN Group’s services and their clients.
