Background
Rundle Tailoring is a Newcastle institution, known as the go-to destination for casual and formal suits in the region. They’re recognised for their craftsmanship, personalised service and deep connection to the local community.
Brief
I was contacted by the Marketing Manager, Bronwyn Rundle, to support communications.
The project involved:
- Writing blogs for the website that told the stories of local couples and weddings
- Highlighting what the groom was wearing to tie content back to Rundle Tailoring
- Creating accompanying social media posts, including captions, hashtags, and vendor tags
- Selecting images to enhance each blog and social post
Approach
Blogs
Blogs were structured with clear subheadings for easy reading and paired with a curated selection of images to complement the story.
I focused on using words and phrases that really evoked the feeling of the day while still including all the key details:
- ‘They fell in love with Dalwood Estate from the moment they entered its long, sweeping driveway. Even on that particular cloudy day, they were enraptured by its incredible moodiness’
- ‘Their first dance was ‘Breathless’ by The Corrs, a fun banger with special memories, perfect for dancefloor spins and a singalong.’
- ‘One beautiful bride, a suave bearded groom, two men in fairy outfits and 70 smiling guests later, and their love was sealed with a ring and a kiss.’
Socials
Social posts were short, catchy, and aligned with the blog content, referencing Rundle Tailoring, what the grooms were wearing, and tagging all relevant vendors with appropriate hashtags.
The result is content that engages readers, showcases the business and celebrates the local community.
