SEO website copy


Established national Aussie brand, Wattyl, was in the process of creating a new website to consolidate and update their existing ones. They got in touch for help with the project.


The request was to write 25-30 pages of SEO-optimised web copy for the main site pages. These were broken down into targeting three key personas – homeowner, trade and designers/architects. The copy and tone needed to be consistent and bring the site to life.


After spending time understanding the personas and brand TOV, I crafted copy aligned to each of their different needs while ensuring they were still cohesive. The messaging needed to be clear, helpful and position the brand as reliable and trustworthy. Content was created to given word counts and optimised with page-by-page long-tail SEO keywords.
