Background
Italian Bacco’s Bakeries, based in Wickham, NSW, was taken over by new local owners, Todd and Karlene Russell, who wanted to create a fresh brand and website.
Brief
I was approached by creative design agency Ronnoco to work with them in developing the brand and copy. Firstly, Bacco’s wanted brand copy, including a tagline, story and key statement. The site was to be image-led, with strong premium but evocative messaging that leaned into the business’s Italian roots. The website was 9 pages.
Approach
After initial discussions and receiving discovery questionnaires completed by the client, I began market and product research. I also did SEO keyword research to identify target phrases for each website page. My approach for the copy was to give it heart and draw customers in by describing foodie moments. I also brought in Italian words to add flair.
