Brochure copy, national press inserts
I previously worked in-house as a copywriter and marketing executive for P&O Cruises. After leaving the position, I still did freelance work for the company when they had a surplus.
To write some evocative experience pages for their World Voyages brochure, which included travel and destination copy. I was also asked to write engaging copy for promotional leaflets/inserts that were to be placed in the national press.
Due to my background in copywriting, my knowledge of the cruise travel industry, and having written previous World Voyages brochures and inserts, I already had a lot of background knowledge, but I undertook some current competitor analysis. I then started conceptualising ideas for the overriding theme and headlines before writing the main copy.
