Engaging marketing documents that deliver great results

Whether you want a brand booklet or promotional flyer, I’ll get to know your business, come up with the best structure and write credible, persuasive words that help you engage and sell. As your brochure copywriter, I’ll also ensure the words align with your brand tone of voice or work to help you develop one.

The science behind brochures, leaflets + flyers

While digital has taken over, good old brochures, leaflets and flyers still have a place in the marketing mix. In fact, brochures and flyers have the potential to be incredibly persuasive when done right. So, don’t flick them to staff as a side job.

Brochures need to speak to the needs and pain points of your target audience. They also require a solid structure that makes logical sense to the reader. Plus, the copy must be strong, credible and emotive and backed up by facts, examples and social proof.

Meet your brochure copywriter.

Hello, I’m Kerrie Brooks. I’ve been a professional brochure copywriter and leaflet writer for over 18 years.

I’ve written everything from 200-page brochures to promo flyers and brand books. I spent five years working for a big national travel brand in the UK and wrote more brochures, flyers and leaflets than I’ve had hot dinners (don’t fact-check that!). Since then, I’ve written for many more industries, from real estate to education.

I'm not just a brochure copywriter. I work with partner graphic designers who can whip you up a wow design. I can even get you quotes and coordinate the process.

My brochure writing process.

Here’s what to expect when you work with me. It’s as easy as a,b,c.

a. Discovery

Once you’ve filled in my initial Project Brief and signed the proposal, the ‘Discovery’ phase begins. To write your brochure or leaflet, I need to know everything about your business, from your values and products to your ‘why’. To do this, I typically send out a Discovery Questionnaire and follow this up with a Zoom or phone call.

b. Writing

After the Discovery phase is done and you’ve sent me through any additional information I’ve asked for, I’ll do a whole lot of competitor and industry research and then start writing the first draft (D1) of your brochure or leaflet. This involves creativity combined with copywriting know-how and application of my research.

c. Revisions

Once your first draft is ready, I’ll send it to you laid out page by page with comments on design and layout for review. Now is your chance to review the copy and structure, check for accuracy, and suggest any changes or tweaks, which I’ll them work through and come back to you with a revised version.
